Hiii, I’m back with the JW Anderson Chain mules review & discount code for all of you. I have been obsessed with these shoes since summer of this year and I’m so happy that I finally got them. I’m especially happy that I got this for 50% off from Luisaviaroma. Literally, insane, but I’ll get to that a bit later down in the post. Side-note: since I wrote this post when I freshly got these shoes, I’ll make a few sections down below with my review as time goes (first few days, first few months, a year update etc.)

First review after the first few days (30+ km) with these shoes

I love love walking and yet, I’m the queen of uncomfortable shoes and getting the worst kinds of blisters. I had no expectations on whether or not these shoes would be comfortable, especially since the chains look super heavy. But, surprisingly, these have held up so well in my long walks.

My JW Anderson Chain mules is extremely easy to walk on and they’re shaped so ergonomically that it actually feels really lightweight and comfortable. The insole of these mules remind me a lot of the Birkenstock sandals. The corks of these shoes really form to your feet and it literally hugs every part of your feet. These mules are a bit stiff, but it’s nothing that you notice over time.

Honestly, I am extremely happy with these shoes. They’re super convenient to use (literally just a slip on) and they’re really comfortable. These (and the uggs I’ve had since 7+ years ago) have been my go-to shoes the past December. Whether I’m out for groceries, getting my lashes done, going around town doing whatever, these mules have become my trusted ally.

I got mine in Olive Green and I’m surprised at how easy it is to pair with the majority of my outfits. This shade of Olive Green goes so so beautifully with the gold chain. And, the shade is so perfect with long flowy black pants. Personally, I find this color more interesting than the black pair (which I initially wanted to get). The shade is quite dark, but still lighter than the regular black. It’s also so complementary to dark & light pants and very very muted.

Honestly, I have way too many black shoes and the Olive Green tint is just the perfect addition to my collection.

The only “con” that I’ve noticed so far is the squeakiness of these shoes.

They walk beautifully and comfortably. But, my JW Anderson chain mules literally squeaks at every step I take. My boyfriend said that the sound reminds him of one of those squeaky pet toys. It literally sounds like I’m stepping on those. I don’t know what it is, but I’m assuming it’s the chain. It doesn’t really bother me that much as it’s honestly not that loud, especially when you’re in a crowd. When it’s quiet, it’s definitely louder than it needs to be. But, when you’re around people and when it’s busy, you really hardly notice it.

It doesn’t bother me, but if you hate repetitive squeaky noises, I don’t think these shoes will be for you.

To conclude, would I recommend it?

1000000%. If you’re thinking of getting these mules, honestly I think you should just get it. It’s so good and right now is the time to buy it. The discounts are crazy good and I can’t pass up a good deal. I’m just as obsessed with these shoes as I was with it last summer. It’s extremely comfortable and it’s super simple, yet anything but simple in its looks. I love it.

I’ve gotten so many compliments on them (weirdly enough, mostly from middle-aged and older men), but it’s just absolutely eye-catching and beautiful. It elevates your outfits and it’s just so ugly but so gorgeous at the same time. I love it and can’t recommend it enough. It’s both comfortable and beautiful.
