Best kinds of straw hats for the summer

I love straw hats and hats in general. My friends know that I’m this little local grandma who wears tons of different hat styles. And, honestly I think they’re super fun and practical. Hats are one of the best ways to protect your scalp and shield face from the sun. SO, to celebrate my love for hats and in light of summer and my first post on liketoknow.it, I’ve browsed the internet for all sorts of straw hats which I find super cool for the summer. Sorry if I got some of the name-type wrong, please do let me know and I’ll fix it 🙂

Floppy Straw Hats

Floppy hats are just adorable. There’s also a tad of drama tied to them which I love. It’s also absolutely useful as it covers most of your face from the harmful sunrays. I can’t speak for the quality of these hats as I don’t own them, but the one which I do have is from H&M and they’re super good value for money. I also love Arket as a store, haven’t been disappointed by them so far.

The gigantic floppy kinds

I’m the most anti-premature aging from the sun’s UV rays, but even I don’t think I need hats this big. I do think they’re fashionable and definitely fun, but I think this won’t work on me. If you do want them, I think these are some of the best ones.

The wide-brim type

I love, looove, Arket and COS. I think they’re both such super smart and high quality stores, all the stuff which I do have from them are super neat and minimalistic. Perfect for work. I do have to say that I haven’t tried on their hats, but judging from the quality of all their other stuff, I think they’d do great in this department too. The Jacquemus hat is an absolute dream, but I’m definitely not at the place right now to spend that kind of money on a hat. I still included it cause the design is so striking and odd, good for inspiration.

Garden Straw Hats (or one of those tied ones)

I think these are just so cool. I really love the one in the middle from & other stories, I think these would look so cool at festivals like Dekmantel.

The bucket hat type

This is more my jam. I have tons of bucket hats and I have something similar to the third one from Revolve. Unfortunately, I don’t wear my bucket straw hat as often cause I do tend to switch hats often, but I think this is one of the cuter ones which makes me feel like a mushroom.

Not the biggest fan of this style cause I can’t pull it off, but I do think if you like this style – these are just some of the coolest options.

And there you have it. Lots of straw hat options to give you your fix in hats. I wish Uniqlo has their own collection of summer straw hats, I feel like they would do great in that department. This was honestly so fun to write. I love hats and I think it’d be a dream come true if I can own a hat store one day.
